Meet Our Director of Operations


Kristen Hamilton Scott



Responsibilities:  The Director of Communications is responsible for all Insurance Institute publications.  She manages the Institute's website, internal network and works directly with the servicing vendors.  She is also the staff liaison to the Communications Committee and the Information Technology Committee

In addition, Kristen serves as the Institute's Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing the general office management of the Institute, including accounts payable, annual member assessments and key association filings with numerous governmental entities. She is responsible for the coordination of support personnel, providing overall direction and supervision to file maintenance, office orderliness, completion of administrative tasks and workload balance. She maintains the day-to-day fiduciary functions of the Institute, provides input in developing the annual budget and assists with meeting budgetary goals.

Education: B.A., Hanover College; Graduate, Institute for Organization Management
