IPAC
The Insurance Political Action Committee

The Insurance Political Action Committee (IPAC) is the campaign and elections arm of the Insurance Institute of Indiana. IPAC was formed to assist the insurance industry's lobbying efforts in Indiana.
IPAC contributions are used to support qualified candidates for the Indiana General Assembly and state offices who support the insurance industry's positions on key issues. Your IPAC contributions help elect pro-insurance/pro-business legislators who ensure an environment that remains friendly to companies doing business in Indiana. Contributing to IPAC can make a significant difference in affecting the makeup of our state legislature and contributions ultimately lead to a strong, unified voice for the insurance industry.
Franklin Society - The Insurance Institute of Indiana has established The Franklin Society to encourage insurance corporations and individuals to contribute to the IPAC, and in so doing, recognize each company’s stake and increase individual involvement in the political process.
Membership in The Franklin Society is reserved for those individuals and organizations that have made a significant commitment to the IPAC. The Franklin Society members receive a special plaque, which is designed to include annual updates denoting continued support.
The Franklin Society members are highlighted in the Institute’s annual report and in the portion of the web site accessible only to the Institute’s Board of Directors. The Franklin Society members are also invited to an annual members-only event with legislative leaders.
